Dilute it: Never use full-strength (e.g., 70%, 91%, or 99%) IPA directly on paint. Dilute to 10-20% concentration (e.g., 1 part 70% IPA to 3 parts distilled water) for safety. Higher concentrations can strip wax, dull or soften the clear coat (especially with prolonged contact or repeated use), or cause issues on fresh paint.
